Welcome to the AΣA website!  This website was created to answer any questions you might have and to give you an inside look at what being an Alpha Sig is all about.
    When I first joined, I was told that Alpha Sigma Alpha is more than just a sorority; rather, it was a way of life filled with amazing memories, unbelievable experiences, and sisters that will be your best friends for the rest of your life. After hearing this, I knew that I wanted to be an Alpha Sig.
        Alpha Sigma Alpha is a feeling of belonging to a group of women who accept you for who you are and encourage you to develop into who you want to become. As my college years are quickly coming to an end, I cannot picture being the woman I am today without Alpha Sigma Alpha. My sisters are not only there to laugh and have fun with, but they are my support system and my family. In Alpha Sigma Alpha, you can find a place where you feel at home. It’s the power of friendship that makes our sisterhood unique. Alpha Sigma Alpha develops women of poise and purpose. With a sisterhood so powerful, it becomes a part of you, and you begin to wonder what you ever did without your sisters, your best friends. These are the times when you meet people you will never believe you once lived without.
    Looking back on my last three years of college I cannot imagine it without all the memories and good times I have had with my Alpha Sig sisters. I was immediately given leadership and service opportunities which created a pathway that helped me become the successful, achieving Alpha Sig I am today. Not only was I given these opportunities, but I was also blessed with a place I can truly call my home away from home.  Fortunately, I know that the future will only hold more life-long memories and bonds with the ladies of Alpha Sig. Ask any sister, and they will all say that joining Alpha Sigma Alpha was the best decision of their college career.  It is here that you will find your closest friends, and I know that these women will be in my life long after I have graduated from Missouri State.
